Su Hyun Kim was born in Busan, Korea. Her paintings have been exhibited in group and solo shows around the world since 2007, including at Gang kuk Samsung Hospital, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Tom&toms Gallery in Seoul. She was an International Fellowship resident artist at the Vermont Studio Center, USA in 2010. She currently resides and works in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Su Hyun Kim became an artist in order to help the world by ‘revealing mystic truths’. Kim’s paintings combine photography and illusion in unique ways, oscillating between abstraction and realism.
